Using a handheld device, RF waves are passed across the treatment area in a circular motion gently raising the temperature of the skin. The resultant heat penetrates the skin layers and stimulates the production of newer, more rejuvenated skin. Collagen and elastin are also stimulated and these proteins provide structure and stability to skin resulting in firmer more youthful skin, free of sagging, with a firmer feel. 

 Not at all most patients report a therapeutic, massage-like, effect to the treatment.

 Face and neck treatments are done with a handheld device that has rollers on it to pass over the face, neck and decolletage. The treatment time can range between 40 – 90 minutes depending on the area covered and the extent of treatment required.

Body areas are treated with non-invasive pads attached to the skin over a period of about 20 minutes. We recommend using the treatment time to relax and unwind in our peaceful environment. We also offer various facial procedures while the treatment is being applied including chemical peels and facials.

The beauty of this type of treatment is that there is virtually no downtime. You are free to return to normal day-to-day life immediately. As with all our treatments, we recommend a medical-grade sunscreen to protect and preserve the skin and the rejuvenated effects. 

This is not an instant-fix type of procedure, it relies on the production of new, more youthful-looking skin. Whilst the skin will look fresher within a few days with a visible reduction in fine lines, the most noticeable results are visible with the surface appearance of the newly generated skin cells approximately 6 – 8 weeks after the first treatment. As with most dermatological procedures, 3 – 5 treatments 4-6 weeks apart provide optimal results. Treatments continue to bear positive effects for up to 2 years.
